Valencia Basket tests its good shape on the challenging court of Surne Bilbao Basket.

Valencia Basket men's first team is back on the road to visit Surne Bilbao Basket's court (Sunday, 27th, 17:00h, Bilbao Arena, Deportes 3 on M+) in a game corresponding to the fifth round of the Liga Endesa.

 

The taronja team will try to continue their impressive streak of results, which currently stands at seven wins in a row, in a venue where they haven't won since January 2021, having lost their last three visits and four of the previous five.

 

Coach Pedro Martínez is facing increasing challenges at the point guard position. In addition to Chris Jones's confirmed long-term injury, Croatian Goran Filipovic is also sidelined due to lower back pain. Furthermore, Serbian Stefan Jovic is questionable for the game, and if he can play, he will be hindered by a viral illness.

 

Shooting guard Jean Montero, who missed Wednesday's game in Ankara due to a right shoulder subluxation, has been included in the roster. Still, his participation in tomorrow's game is seriously questionable.
